Stairway rods to heaven!
Confucius say - stair rods are not  confusing and to achieve complete enlightenment one must have them upon their stairs.
 OK we know this is kind of heavy hype, but we want to make this as enjoyable as possible. 
Important - Stair rods are for decorative purposes only, 
and MUST NOT be used as the only means of securing the carpet runner on your stair case.

 First your carpet must be professionally installed using a non-slip pad and/or another means of installation.

Stair Rods

Stair rods used to be the kind of thing that no one noticed. Not now. Now you can get stair rods that are just as attractive, if not more attractive than the carpet itself.  As a matter of fact, maybe we should call them stare rods! You will be actually turning you staircase into a showcase with our lovely selection of  rods. Our beautiful stair rods are used mostly as a decorative accessory, so you should be certain to make sure that your carpeting is attached by some other means than just the stair rods.  They come in a variety of different finishes. That way you can make sure that they really look great with the carpet that is covering your stairs. Perhaps you have a carpet with a rather engaging design in a variety of different earth tones. The dark bronze or antique brass might really complement the sage or brown tones in your piece. A cooler pewter finish might look just right in you have a solid color teal or slate color. 

Speaking of a solid color carpeting, be sure and check into our swing arm style.  A solid colored carpeting is more than likely to have to be cleaned more often and having the swing arm type will make your life much much easier. The convenience of having the rod swing out, makes it a snap to get into all those hard to clean places where dirt just seems to be magnetized to. Another nice feature of the swing arm stair rod, is that you can get the end piece with a decorative pineapple on the end or you can purchase it with a flat side. This makes it nice if your stair way is next to the wall and you don't want to use the space for any decorative elements. It is available with several different finishes, for instance, polished lacquered brass, pewter, antique brass and dark bronze. The decorative pineapple is not the only finial that we have. We also have the ever popular mushroom finial. Very classic, as is the pineapple finial. We also have several different stair rod tubes from which to choose from. First is the solid brass rod, then you can also get a rod that has a hollow core. both of these have a smooth finish. 

The Reeded tube has small line spaces all around it as a point of interest. Don't forget to rise to the occasion also, as we carry stair risers.  So don't wait any longer. Your carpet is on the way, or perhaps even installed, and you can really jazz up that stairway with some of these attractive first rate stair rods. Don't forget to look into our huge line of carpets too. Many of our carpets can be purchased with a lovely carpet runner that would look spectacular on your stairway. So be sure and ask one of our consultants if the carpet comes with a matching runner. Just a piece of trivia here - did you know that there is a rather famous saying that is - It's raining stair rods. What does that mean? It means that it is raining rather heavily. It is a colloquial North of England expression. The allusion is to rain which is so heavy that it appears to be falling like stair rods. Ummmm, you learn something everyday, don't you?
